Homeschool Fair was started ten years ago by Mazie Middleton. Unable to go to the state homeschooling convention in Orlando,
Mazie decided to call a few vendors and have a small fair for Pinellas County. That first year over 50 vendors wanted to come
and over 500 homeschoolers attended. Together with some friends, Mazie has made sure that all homeschoolers in Pinellas, Pasco
and Hillsborough Counties have the opportunity to see what is available to them locally for curriculum, groups, clubs, organizations
and services.
Mazie homeschooled her son, Alex, for 15 years. She is happilly married to her husband Chip for the past 28 years. Mazie
was the Founder/Director of Home's Cool Co-op, a weekly homeschooling co-op that provided low cost classes to children in
grades K-12 for over ten years.
